Website information and service requests

The website provides general information about low-voltage, cabling, fiber, security, access-control, audio-visual, and related services. Website content is not engineering, safety, legal, or other professional advice and may not describe every requirement of a particular project.

A contact form, quote request, email, or phone conversation does not create a service contract or require WiredOptics to accept a project. Scope, pricing, schedule, warranties, payment terms, and other project-specific obligations are established only in a separate written proposal, work order, or agreement accepted by the applicable parties. If a project agreement conflicts with these website terms, the project agreement controls for that project.

Your information and communications

You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate another person or submit information without authority. By submitting a request, you authorize WiredOptics to contact you about that request by the methods you provide. Marketing communications, if any, may be stopped using the instructions in the message or by contacting us.

Do not submit passwords, financial account information, government identification numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information through a general website form.

Acceptable use

You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with website operation, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy content through automated means in a way that burdens the website, misrepresent your identity, or use the website to violate another person’s rights.

Intellectual property

The website and its text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, design, and other content are owned by WiredOptics or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print reasonable portions for your own internal, noncommercial use. No other license is granted without our prior written permission.

The website may use or link to third-party services, including analytics, advertising, mapping, social-media, and scheduling tools. We do not control third-party websites or their availability, content, or practices. Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Privacy and advertising technology

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain our collection and use of information, Google Analytics, OpenAI measurement for ChatGPT advertising, and other optional services when enabled. Optional technologies operate only after the required cookie preference choices. You can review or withdraw those choices through Your Privacy Choices. Accepting these website terms or submitting a quote request does not itself enable optional tracking.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available.” WiredOptics disclaims warranties regarding the website’s accuracy, completeness, availability, security, and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WiredOptics and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the website. Our total liability for claims arising solely from use of the website will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to obligations stated in a separate project agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating solely to the website will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Davidson County, Tennessee, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law.
