Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Wired Optics, LLC (“WiredOptics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through wiredoptics.io.
Information we collect
When you request a quote, contact us, or otherwise submit information through this website, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company, project location, requested service, and project details. We may also collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location, pages viewed, links clicked, referral source, and the date and time of your visit.
How we use information
We may use information to respond to requests, evaluate project needs, prepare estimates or follow-up communications, provide and improve our services and website, measure marketing performance, prevent fraud or misuse, protect the website, and comply with legal obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies for essential website functions, security, analytics, and advertising measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings and through any cookie-choice tool displayed on this website. Blocking some technologies may affect website functionality.
Meta Pixel and advertising
We use, or may use, the Meta Pixel and related Meta Business Tools provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. These tools help us measure visits and advertising results, understand how people use the website, create advertising audiences, and show or measure ads on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta services.
The Meta Pixel may allow Meta to collect or receive information from this website and from your browser or device, including IP address, browser and device information, page URLs, referral information, cookie identifiers, and events such as page views, link clicks, or quote-request activity, depending on how the Pixel is configured. Meta may combine this information with other information associated with your Meta account. If advanced matching or a similar feature is enabled, contact identifiers such as an email address or phone number may be sent to Meta in hashed form. We do not intend to send project descriptions or sensitive personal information through the Meta Pixel.
Meta processes information under its own terms and policies. You can learn more in the Meta Privacy Policy and manage certain advertising choices through Meta Ad Preferences.
How information is disclosed
We may disclose information to providers that support website hosting, security, analytics, advertising, email delivery, and project communications; to professional advisers; in connection with a business transaction; or when disclosure is required by law. We do not sell contact-form information for money. However, disclosure of online activity to advertising partners such as Meta may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under certain privacy laws.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including business records, dispute resolution, and legal requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; obtain a copy of certain information; or opt out of targeted advertising or certain disclosures. To submit a request, email info@wiredoptics.io with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity and may deny or limit a request where permitted by law.
You may also use browser cookie controls, any cookie-choice tool displayed on this website, and Meta Ad Preferences. Where applicable law requires consent for nonessential advertising technologies, those technologies should be activated only after the required choice is provided.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for business customers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.
Third-party links
This website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date above shows when the latest revision took effect.
Contact
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@wiredoptics.io or mailed to Wired Optics, LLC, 1801 West End Ave #1057, Nashville, TN 37203.
Universal opt-outs and targeted advertising
WiredOptics does not sell personal information for money. Some disclosures to analytics or advertising providers may be considered a sale, sharing, cross-context behavioral advertising, or targeted advertising under certain laws. Nonessential Statistics and Marketing technologies are disabled unless a visitor affirmatively allows them. A visitor may reject or withdraw that choice at any time through Your Privacy Choices.
We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC). When GPC is detected, nonessential categories are declined for that browser or device. A visitor may review the result in Cookie Preferences.
Privacy requests and appeals
Subject to applicable law, a consumer may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal information, and may opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling. Requests may be submitted to info@wiredoptics.io or by calling (615) 246-6616. Use the subject Privacy Appeal to appeal a denial. We will verify and respond within 45 days where that period applies, explain any legally permitted extension, and provide reasons and appeal instructions for a denial.
Data minimization for advertising
WiredOptics does not intend to disclose the contents of free-form quote or contact fields, account credentials, payment data, or sensitive personal information to advertising providers. Advertising technologies, including a Meta Pixel if enabled, are classified as Marketing and are blocked unless the visitor provides the required choice. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising.
California privacy disclosures
This section supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy for California residents and addresses the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). It also provides CCPA-style transparency without representing that WiredOptics necessarily meets a CCPA coverage threshold. Review the category-by-category California Notice at Collection for examples, sources, purposes, recipients, and retention criteria.
Information handled during the preceding 12 months
WiredOptics may have collected identifiers and contact information, commercial and project information, internet or network activity, consent preferences, and privacy-request information. It may have disclosed those categories to hosting, security, reCAPTCHA, form, email, communications, professional-adviser, and operational service providers for the business purposes described in this policy. Google Analytics may process internet or network activity only after Statistics permission. WiredOptics has not sold personal information for money. The Meta Pixel is not active as of August 28, 2026.
California rights and request methods
If the CCPA applies, a California resident may request to know or access categories and specific pieces of personal information, request deletion or correction, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale or sharing, limit qualifying uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service and pricing after exercising a right. Submit a request through Your Privacy Choices, email info@wiredoptics.io, or call (615) 246-6616. We use reasonable verification proportionate to the request and do not require identity verification for a browser-level opt-out beyond information needed to apply the choice.
Where CCPA deadlines apply, WiredOptics confirms qualifying requests to know, access, delete, or correct within 10 business days and responds within 45 calendar days. A legally permitted 45-day extension will be explained before the initial period expires. Sale or sharing opt-outs are honored as soon as feasibly possible and no later than 15 business days. Request and response records are maintained securely for at least 24 months.
Browser privacy signals and third-party tracking
WiredOptics honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a request to opt out of sale or sharing and targeted advertising where applicable. A recognized GPC signal automatically declines nonessential categories for that browser or device. Legacy Do Not Track (DNT) signals do not have a uniform legal or technical meaning, so WiredOptics does not take a separate action solely in response to a legacy DNT header that does not also communicate GPC. Regardless of DNT, optional Statistics and Marketing technologies remain off until the visitor affirmatively enables them.
Necessary hosting, consent-management, and Google reCAPTCHA providers may process internet or network activity for site delivery, security, preference storage, and abuse prevention. Optional analytics or advertising providers may collect activity over time and across services only when their disclosed category is active and the visitor has provided the required choice. Use Your Privacy Choices to review or change that choice.
Sensitive information, minors, and direct marketing
WiredOptics does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through this website, use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics, or use website data for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. The site is directed to businesses and is not intended for children. WiredOptics does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
California Civil Code section 1798.83 permits certain residents to request information about disclosures for third parties' own direct-marketing purposes. WiredOptics does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing without the required choice. A California resident may send a request once per calendar year to info@wiredoptics.io or Wired Optics, LLC, 1801 West End Ave #1057, Nashville, TN 37203.
Annual review
WiredOptics reviews these California disclosures at least annually and when its forms, analytics, advertising, service providers, or data practices materially change.
