California Notice at Collection
This notice describes personal information Wired Optics, LLC collects through wiredoptics.io and the purposes for using it.
This notice is provided as a transparency measure and does not by itself represent that WiredOptics meets a statutory coverage threshold under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Information collected at or before collection
| Category | Examples and sources | Purposes | Recipients | Retention criteria |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers and contact information | Name, work email, phone number, company, and information you provide directly. | Respond to requests, prepare and administer quotes, communicate about projects, provide service, prevent fraud, and maintain business records. | Hosting, email, form, communications, and other service providers acting for WiredOptics; professional advisers when necessary. | Retained for the time reasonably needed to respond and administer the relationship, and longer when required for contracts, accounting, tax, warranty, safety, dispute, or legal obligations. |
| Commercial and project information | Requested service, project location, facility needs, project details, correspondence, quotes, and transaction history supplied by you or generated through the relationship. | Evaluate scope, prepare proposals, schedule and perform services, provide support, keep records, and resolve disputes. | Operational service providers, advisers, and project participants when reasonably necessary to provide the requested service. | Unconverted inquiries are retained only while reasonably useful for follow-up and legal needs. Customer and project records are retained according to contract, accounting, tax, warranty, safety, dispute, and legal requirements. |
| Internet or network activity | IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referral information, security events, consent preferences, and reCAPTCHA signals collected automatically. | Deliver and secure the site, remember privacy choices, prevent spam and abuse, diagnose problems, and measure site performance only when optional Statistics are allowed. | Hosting, security, consent-management, and reCAPTCHA providers. Optional analytics providers receive data only after the required choice. | Security and server records follow provider schedules and are kept only as reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting, and legal obligations. Consent preferences expire or reset according to the consent manager configuration. |
| Approximate location and advertising activity | Approximate location inferred from IP address, page or advertising interactions, online identifiers, browser and device information, and consented campaign attribution. OpenAI receives a random event identifier and an available ChatGPT ad-click identifier for a successful quote request, not submitted contact or project fields. | Measure website and advertising performance and understand quote-request activity. Audience functions apply only to services and features actually enabled with the required choice. | Google Analytics after Statistics permission; OpenAI after Marketing and OpenAI Pixel permission; Meta only if enabled and the required choices are provided. | The ChatGPT click cookie lasts up to 30 days; campaign and landing-page attribution lasts for the browser-tab session. The pending OpenAI event is valid for five minutes. Browser records are cleared on withdrawal. Delivered quote emails follow business-record retention criteria. Provider processing follows applicable settings, terms and the disclosed purpose. |
| Privacy-request information | Name, email, state of residence, request type, agent status, verification information, correspondence, and outcome. | Authenticate, process, document, and respond to privacy requests and prevent fraudulent requests. | Authorized staff, hosting and email providers, advisers, regulators, or service providers when necessary to process or document the request. | Request and response records are kept for at least 24 months and then reviewed for deletion unless a longer period is reasonably required for a dispute or legal obligation. |
Google Analytics
When you allow Statistics, we use Google Analytics to understand visits and website activity, including pages viewed, referral information and events such as quote-request activity. Google may receive online identifiers, the page URL, IP address, browser and device information, and interaction information. This information is not necessarily anonymous. The Google tag is configured not to automatically collect contact-form names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses for matching.
Read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. You can decline or withdraw Statistics through Your Privacy Choices. Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers; that add-on does not control every Google service or replace this website's cookie preferences.
OpenAI advertising measurement
When you allow both Marketing and the OpenAI Pixel service in Cookie Preferences, we use OpenAI measurement to understand whether ChatGPT advertising leads to a successfully submitted quote request. OpenAI receives a random event identifier and, when available, a ChatGPT ad-click identifier, together with ordinary network-request information such as IP address and browser information. This integration does not use automatic contact matching. We do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, form-field contents or project descriptions in its measurement event. See the OpenAI Privacy Policy.
After permission, the first-party cookie wo_chatgpt_oppref may remember a ChatGPT ad-click identifier for up to 30 days. Campaign details and the query-free landing-page URL are kept in browser-tab session storage and may be included in the quote email delivered to WiredOptics; these attribution fields are not sent in the OpenAI event. A separate single-use pending event record expires after five minutes. Session storage can remain until the tab's session ends or is cleared; the code rejects an expired pending record.
You can withdraw permission through Your Privacy Choices. Withdrawal blocks future OpenAI measurement and clears this integration's browser attribution and pending-event storage. It does not reverse a request already sent or delete an already delivered quote email. Quote correspondence follows the business-record retention criteria in our Privacy Policy.
Meta advertising tools when enabled
Meta Pixel is listed in our consent manager as an optional Marketing service. Its listing does not mean it is currently running. If enabled, and only after the required Marketing and service choices, Meta tools may measure advertising, help create audiences and process page or event activity, online identifiers, browser and device information, and referral information. Depending on the enabled features, hashed contact identifiers may be used for matching. This conditional description does not mean WiredOptics currently sends those identifiers. Learn more in the Meta Privacy Policy and Meta Ad Preferences. Review active service choices through Your Privacy Choices.
Sale, sharing, sensitive information, and profiling
WiredOptics does not sell personal information for money. Disclosures of online identifiers or activity to analytics or advertising providers may be considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws. Google Analytics and OpenAI advertising measurement are used only after their required choices. A Meta service listing is not evidence that Meta is running. Reject or turn off the relevant optional categories and services through Your Privacy Choices to stop future optional processing in this browser. These choices do not prevent necessary processing to answer a quote request, secure the website or maintain business records.
We recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) as an opt-out signal. Our consent manager initially declines optional Statistics and Marketing for a browser sending that signal. Its preferences also provide a separate, explicit choice to override the signal and allow optional processing. Review the current category, service and GPC-override selections in Your Privacy Choices; the displayed preferences determine the choice recorded for this browser. Browser choices apply to that browser or device and do not automatically change every account or device.
WiredOptics does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through this website or use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. Do not submit government identifiers, account credentials, financial account details, health information, precise geolocation, or other sensitive information through a free-form field. WiredOptics does not use website data to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Your choices
Visit Your Privacy Choices to reject optional technologies, confirm browser privacy settings, opt out of sale or sharing and targeted advertising, or submit an access, correction, deletion, portability, limitation, or other privacy request. WiredOptics will not discriminate against a consumer for exercising an applicable privacy right.
